Despite the economic slowdown and gloomy forecasts for the industry Multicom has seen a significant increase in sales made by FindandBook users during the January peaks booking period.

The Bristol based company has reported a year on year increase in bookings for 2012 against the same period in 2011 of more than 35 per cent.

Multicom say the success for FindandBook users reflects the depth and wide choice of products on offer through its market leading booking system and the determination of consumers to get the best deals.

Multicom Managing Director John Howell said: “Despite the ongoing economic slowdown we have been delighted to see sales via FindandBook increase by over a third compared with the same period last year.

“That is good news for the whole industry, not just Multicom, and reflects the continuing demand for consumers to get the best deals they can during these hard times by booking early.

“It’s good to see FindandBook users sharing in that success and ensuring they are turning their competitive advantage of a search facility that is second to none to drive their sales ahead in ever increasing numbers.”
