Multicom ready to launch new cruise API

18th March 2013

Market leading travel software specialists Multicom is preparing to launch its new cruise API featuring many of the leading cruise lines and a host of benefits for agents and OTAs.

Multicom’s own bookable API will feature all content in a single system, offer direct links to all cruise bookings systems and normalise all data; this will allow access to all cruise systems from a single entry point and provide commonality to enable users to navigate each cruise line simply.

The cruise API will be integrated into Multicom’s FindandBookTM to enable customers to utilise the existing functionality of the award winning booking system for flights, accommodation, transfers and other related ancillary products.

All major cruise operators will be featured including Carnival Corporation lines Cunard, P&O and Princess Cruises as well as Royal Caribbean Cruises brands Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises.

Carnival’s Holland America and Costa and Norwegian Cruise Line are also due to be integrated into the system shortly.

Multicom is confident that its cruise API’s simple process, wide choice of suppliers and unique bookable API together with a competitive offer to the market will find favour with agents and OTAs.

Managing Director John Howell said: “We have developed an API that will offer all cruise content from one point of access and is fully bookable with all cruise lines, a unique combination that none of our competitors can currently offer.

“Agents and OTAs will find that proposition extremely attractive, saving both time and costs which nobody can afford to ignore in the current climate.”

Multicom expects to announce a launch customer for its cruise API in the very near future.
