Alongside other developers and designers, you will analyse the specifications and requirements from our clients, and implement comprehensive solutions to achieve these coherently.
The role is suited to Java developers experienced in commercial web development - we're looking for senior developers with several years of experience in commercial web application development. A good understanding of development processes and Agile methodologies is essential, as well as previous experience in deployment processes and working as a team lead. Fabrix is built on Apache Wicket, so knowledge of the framework would be very beneficial, though not essential. You will need to have at least working knowledge of Maven, Spring, JDBC, SVN, web services, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, in order to be able to work effectively. Experience in JQuery and Eclipse would be helpful.
We're keen to find analytical and logical thinkers with good attention to detail, and would like to see candidates happy to research, investigate, and resolve issues independently when possible. Candidates should be comfortable in directing process and acting as a team hub. The ideal candidate will be interested in all things web and keep up to date on the latest ideas on the web.
If you feel the above describes you, send us your CV! We'll arrange a phone screen with a brief Java test, and follow that with an interview and test to assess your Java strengths. We're pretty casual in the office, so if you do get an interview please make sure you don't wear a suit!
